Ottawa East Holiday Food Drive

At this time of year, the need to support our neighbours is critical. Consider giving back this holiday season through the Old Ottawa East Holiday Food Drive!
From Dec. 1st 2024 to Jan. 3rd, 2025, CAG will be collecting donations for the Ottawa Food Bank to support those in need of this essential service.

If you donate, you will automatically be entered into either our Early Bird or Final raffle (depending on the time of your donation), with the chance to win some amazing prizes!

Donations can either be financial or food.​​
Financial Donations:

Financial donations to the Ottawa Food Bank - Ottawa ​East Holiday Food Drive can be to:

1. The Food Drive donation site:

* Tax Receipt Information: You will receive a Tax receipt automatically for all donations of $10.00 or more by email.​

2. Cash or Cheque via CAG (cheques MUST be made out to "Ottawa Food Bank").
Cash or Cheque donations must be dropped off in person on the dates/times listed below (see Food Donations)

* Tax Receipt Information: You will receive a Tax receipt for all cheque donations of $10.00 or more. The Ottawa Food Bank will mail you a paper tax receipt in January 2025.

To enter the raffle with your financial donation, you must provide your email address upon donation. Anonymous donations are not eligible for the Early Bird or Final raffles.

Food donations can be made at Old Town Hall AND the Brantwood Park Fieldhouse on the following days/times:

1. December 2nd to December 13th (Monday to Friday only) - 3:00 pm to 5:45 pm.​​2. December 16th to December 20th (Monday to Friday only) - 3:00 pm to 5:45 pm.

Food donations can be made at Old Town Hall ONLY on the following days/times:
1. Saturday December 14th - 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm
2. Monday, December 23rd - 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
3. Tuesday, December 24th - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Food donations can be made at the Brantwood Park Fieldhouse ONLY on the following days/times:
1. Monday, December 30th - 10:00 am to 5:30 pm
2. Tuesday, December 31st - 10:00 am to 5:30 pm
3. Thursday, January 2nd - 10:00 am to 5:30 pm
4. Friday, January 3rd - 10:00 am to 5:30 pm

To enter the raffle with your food donation, you need to provide CAG with your email address on your raffle ticket. You will be provided the other half of the raffle ticket which contains your raffle ticket entry number.
NOTE: We recommend taking a photo of your entry number, as this is what will be used to identify you if you win the raffle.​

Early Bird Raffle
All donations (financial or food) received on or before Saturday Dec. 14th at 3:00pm will be entered into our Early Bird Raffle, for a chance to win 2 tickets to A Tyler Shaw Christmas on Dec. 19th at 7:00pm at the Algonquin Commons Theatre! More info on our Early Bird Prize below.
If you make a donation, but cannot make it to our Light Up Old Town Hall event, don't worry, you are still eligible to win! In that case, we will notify you via the email you provided upon donation.
Early Bird Prize

Final Raffle
Donations (financial or food) received after 3:00pm Dec. 14th, 2024 and before Jan. 3rd, 2025 will be entered into our Final Raffle for a chance to win one of 3 fabulous Old Ottawa East prizes!

One (1) Adult Registration for a Winter Fitness/Wellness Class (excluding the Better Body Bootcamp - Pick 3 and Pick 4 options), approximate value is $150.00

$150.00 Credit towards any Toddler/Youth/Seniors/Adult CAG Programming (excludes Adult Fitness/Wellness).
